Celluma Light Therapy
Celluma light therapy
Celluma Light Therapy is one of many services offered, which helps to fight acne, fine lines, injuries, and pain. It provides anti-aging benefits as well as cell regeneration, the management of Rosacea, and other inflammatory issues on the face.

Using the process of refraction, light emitted at different frequencies can be separated and utilized in different ways to promote healing. LEDs trigger photo modulation, a non-thermal, non-ablative cellular stimulation. Triggering a photo biochemical response actives fibroblasts deep in the subcutaneous and dermal layers, which promotes healing and repair in these layers. It also suppresses a collagen-degrading enzyme that can accelerate our skin’s aging process. To promote wound healing and decrease the inflammatory response, it also stimulates the energy-producing mitochondria.

Light Therapy is the application of wavelengths of light to tissue to obtain therapeutic benefits. This business uses Celluma, an LED light panel device based on NASA LED technology, and is FDA cleared to treat many musculoskeletal and skin conditions. The panel has three different types of LEDs: Red, Blue, and Near-Infrared.
Blue led
Contains about 115 Blue light-emitting diodes and has been cleared by the FDA to treat Inflammatory Acne Vulgaris. Acne is caused by the bacteria known as P. acnes, which produces large amounts of porphyrins within the bacterial cell. To create an oxygen molecule, these porphyrins are photosensitized with the Blue LED and being an anaerobic bacteria, it is quickly killed by that Blue LED presence.
red led
Contains about 115 Red light-emitting diodes, penetrates into the deep layers of the skin (approximately 8-10mm), and is beneficial in healing inflamed acne, wounds, cuts, scars, and infections. This Red LED light therapy is also recommended as a post-care treatment after dermal rolling or needling, chemical peels, and micro or dermabrasion.
Near-infrared led
Contains about 115 Infrared light-emitting diodes, and as we all know Infrared is invisible to the naked eye. Infrared penetrates deeper into the skin, about 25mm deep, and is also beneficial in healing wounds, cuts, scars, and infections. It also stimulates the deeper tissues, resulting in a healing effect on muscles deep in the subcutaneous tissues.
When using the Blue setting, it includes a small amount of Red and Infrared. Using the Red setting has the most equal amounts of Blue, Red, and Infrared. The Infrared setting has the smallest amount of Blue and also some Red.
No matter which treatment LED you choose to use when you come in, you will feel its healing benefits!
